Messianic Judaism ? Are we really a Judaism?

I have been in the ”Messianic Jewish“ movement over 24 years.I   know many leaders by their first name and like most small movements know of others who know them if I don’t.  Personally know them.

I have been to Hebrew-Christian congregations,Jewish ”churches“, messianic synagogues and everything in between throughout my spiritual journey. I have been MJAA’d,UMJC’d,and Chosen  peopled.What do all these ministries/organizations have in common?  They all are attempting to reach Jews(and gentiles) With the Gospel(Good news) of Yeshua(Jesus).

So what’s the problem? As I pointed out in my previous article(see Aroma Of Judaism) ,The Tree that we are supposedly grafted into ,has been sprouting  Non-Jewish branches since 325 A.D. !!   All of the organizations mentioned above and a few others have decorated a Constinian/Protestant ”religion with some Jewish ”stuff“. 

Ham and cheese is STILL Ham and Cheese ,even on Rye bread with mustard.

Until those that still feel they are Jews,together with those gentiles that feel they are called, to spiritually and doctrinally  separate themselves from their  ”Christian“ brethren,and walk in Torah and Jewish Halacha, Judaism……..Messianic Judaism ,as we come to know it will disappear or assimilate into mainstream  Christianity.

Those that crave to see our lost ”Jewish Brethren“ come to recognize Yeshua as Messiah, are going to be forced to re-examine  basic“Christian“ doctrine and compare it to Jewish thought and beliefs on ”holy cow“ issues.,that many Christians refuse to even discuss..

Bottom line.Is the truth important? Even it creates a major paradign shift? We need to decide.

Before we end up withering away………………or become assimilated ”Christians“
